One of the hardest jobs we have at Boost is stopping ourselves constantly sniffing the Mochaccino hookbaits every time we make them! The deep hit of the coffee along with the creamy mocha is just impossible to resist! It took ages to get the flavour base just right for these incredible hookbaits – but all good things come to those who wait, and the result is bang on… the moment you smell the bait you get a deep hit of the oil based coffee, coco and cream flavours all in equal measure. The smoothness of the coco and cream counter the sharpness of the coffee perfectly to give a super smooth finish. As usual we include a few quality extras in the mix including essential oils and dairy based cream stimulants. Super creamy, and then some!
Once rolled and air dried for several days we give our hookbaits an extra boost with a light soak in more flavor before packing into our special foil packs. The sealed air-tight packs are designed to lock in every last drop of flavor which can only go one way – into the bait! This ensures that when you open the pack, you (or more importantly the carp!) get a proper smack around the chops!
We add a small amount of liquid bait preservative to our hookbaits during the rolling process which means you can use them session after session with no need for special storage or freezing. Just keep them sealed in the handy zip lock foil pack between sessions. We recommend using hookbaits within six months of purchase to get the best from them, however, you can always use one of our glugs or bait sprays to revitalise older hookbaits.
