Megaspice; a firm favorite since way back when… old school cool with a serious hit! There are various Megaspice flavours on the market but we still like to use the original Rod Hutchinson flavor as a nod to the big man himself. Over the years we’ve added a few twists of our own including the addition of a super sweet and super soluble amino liquid to help draw in the fish. Just awesome.
Once rolled and air dried for several days we give our hookbaits an extra boost with a light soak in more flavor before packing into our special foil packs. The sealed air-tight packs are designed to lock in every last drop of flavor which can only go one way – into the bait! This ensures that when you open the pack, you (or more importantly the carp!) get a proper smack around the chops!
We add a small amount of liquid bait preservative to our hookbaits during the rolling process which means you can use them session after session with no need for special storage or freezing. Just keep them sealed in the handy zip lock foil pack between sessions. We recommend using hookbaits within six months of purchase to get the best from them, however, you can always use one of our glugs or bait sprays to revitalise older hookbaits.
